Pizza Box owner Angela Deadman came to us wanting to promote the catering side of her well established cafe business located in Franklin, South Auckland. She had been catering for years and doing a brilliant job of it too with a well known and sought after reputation for this service already built up.
THE SOLUTION
Through consultation, we recommended creating a new brand dedicated to catering. We not only developed the brand identity, but also named it: Signature Catering – a nod to Angela’s distinctive touches, like pansies and edible herbs, that make every dish memorable.
The brand foundations were built on four values: delightful, special, fresh/modern, and quality.

With a dedicated brand and memorable name, Angela can market catering independently and with greater impact, designed specifically for her target audience.
The sub-logo featuring her name builds on her trusted reputation in Franklin, while the comprehensive guidelines empower her to apply the brand confidently across all touchpoints.

Angela has embraced her new brand beautifully. From aprons and uniforms, to packaging labels and catering trays, she’s rolled out the new Signature Catering brand across every touchpoint.
Seeing the brand in action, from foil-stamped labels to a custom drinks cart, shows just how powerful a well-crafted identity can be when it’s used consistently and when you have all the tools to roll it out.
Colour psychology was central to this project. We selected a palette of luxe neutrals, expert black and rose gold foil to reflect calm, trust, and authenticity. These tones also elevate the catering brand into a more premium space, making it feel as special as the events Angela caters for.
