Brand Refinery (formerly KT Design) has proudly partnered with Waikato River Authority for over five years, supporting the evolution of their brand across a wide range of touchpoints. This includes rebranding and the design of key collateral such as annual reports, strategic documents, advertising, signage, and email communications.
THE SOLUTION
The rebrand focused on modernising the existing logo while retaining recognisable elements of the organisation’s identity. A suite of custom illustrative elements was developed to create a more distinctive and cohesive brand system.
These illustrations draw inspiration from the sculpture outside their office, grounding the brand in something meaningful and specific to place. This approach allowed the refreshed identity to feel both contemporary and connected, with a flexible visual language that can be carried consistently across a wide range of applications.
